Spartans!!!!are you ready??!!…hehe…
I managed to catch this movie at the theatres bout 2 weeks ago and boy…what a visual treat! I loved it!
You see i’m the kinda girl that likes and occasional dose of blood and gore….just enough to make my hair stand you know…and this really satisfied my craving…haha…im beginning to scare myself!
I actually liked the visual effects of the movie though some might say it seemed unrealistic (like duh…) Seriously for all those people who disliked 300 because of its cartoony, comic book feel let me set one thing straight in case you didn’t take the time to actually check the credits: IT IS BASED OFF A COMIC BOOK. If you don’t like the movie because of the violence, script, or depiction of Persians, just remember that 300 is based off of Frank Miller’s graphic novel and thus is SUPPOSE to be read like an animated comic book. Yes you are entitled to your own opinion but just read the credits next time k….sorry la….mass comm student mah…
Here are some of my favourite lines in the movie…watch out for it!
Hair-raising : After being asked why the ‘lady’ was allowed to talk amongst them she replies…."Cause only Spartan women give birth to REAL men!" (the feminist in me caught that immediately..hehe)
Funny : When Xerxes asks king Leonidas to bow to him and he says…"Oh sorry i can’t bow now…you see after all that fighting i have a cramp in my thigh" (something like that la..haha)
There are a few more that me and my friends use as our daily lingo now 
its gonna stick for awhile!
For those who haven’t seen it yet….GO!!!! if you’re into action, blood or hunks baring 6-pax you’ll enjoy it…hehe…
